The speaker noted that a 30-second examination of the foot and a 2-minute examination of the feet allow the doctor to determine the presence of pathological changes in patients with diabetes. These can be ulcers, calluses, cracks, macerations, skin damage. Early detection of such changes allows for timely treatment.
