Saccharomyces boulardii is a probiotic yeast primarily used to combat pathogenic microorganisms in the intestines.

It possesses a number of characteristics that make products containing this microorganism particularly beneficial:

• Saccharomyces boulardii does not colonize the intestines (it is not detected in stool 2–5 days after discontinuation of intake);
• It does not penetrate the intestinal barrier;
• It has a higher optimal growth temperature compared to other microorganisms — 37°C;
• It exhibits high viability;
• It is genetically resistant to antibiotics;
• It does not inhibit the growth of the intestinal obligate microflora.

Saccharomyces boulardii supports the restoration of normal gut microflora and inhibits the growth of pathogenic and opportunistic microorganisms and fungi that can disrupt the intestinal microbiota, especially during antibiotic therapy.

Adults: 2 capsules per day with meals.
Children from 3 years of age: 1 capsule per day; the contents of the capsule may be added to food or beverages at a temperature not exceeding 37°C (e.g., porridge, yogurt, or other).

• Not recommended for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
• Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the packaging or if the packaging is damaged.

The product contains yeast strains that are sensitive to heat; therefore, avoid exposing it to heat sources, direct sunlight, or sudden temperature changes.
